Title of Position:     Case Manager (0807CMSH)

Position Type:        Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:             $19.60 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:       Supportive Housing – Philadelphia, PA

The Case Manager is responsible for maintaining a caseload of 20 clients for the Shelter Plus Care Permanent Supportive Housing Program (S+C). Overall responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring  the provision of safe and affordable housing for chronically homeless, disabled Veterans and non-veterans provide ongoing support and case management; and empower clients to increase their income and self-sufficiency, utilizing a housing first, harm reduction model.

Required Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered; 3 years customer service, social work or non-profit experience required; basic Microsoft operating system navigation, Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point and Internet Browser; experience working with health and wellness benefits and services, including those for U.S. Armed Forces veterans a plus; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently with positive results; valid driver’s license with reliable registered and insured automobile.

Title of Position:     Food Services Manager (0807FSMRS)

Position Type:         Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:              $18.25 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:        Residential Services – Coatesville, PA

Read recipes and/or product directions; research and create a variety of menu options to prepare and serve clients; must be able to read and interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation; assist with the planning, preparation and subsequent serving of prepared food items; operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain and season food for cooking, serving and storing; inspects workstations for compliance with service standards; develop, track and maintain food and supply inventory; keeps records and requisitions for supplies/equipment as needed; cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following regulatory rules and procedures; provides general stocking duties in service area; complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures; demonstrate excellent customer service skills in daily interactions with clients (i.e., communication, listening, empathy, conflict resolutions, and maintaining a positive attitude).

Required Qualifications:  Minimum education requirements – High School Diploma or equivalent; excellent customer service skills; ability to read and interpret instructions and perform basic arithmetic used in food preparation; minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the food service industry (institutional setting preferred);

Food Handler’s certification a plus; requires constant standing, walking, and frequent bending; must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted; attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.

Title of Position:  Motor Vehicle Operator (0807MVORS)

Position Type:      Full-time, Non-Exempt

Pay Range:           $16.80 per hour

Prog/Dept/Loc:     Residential Services – Coatesville, PA

This position operates within VMC’s Residential Services Program in Coatesville, PA; Motor Vehicle Operator (Van Driver) provides non-emergent, safe transportation of veterans and cargo as instructed/assigned by Residential Program management; operates and provides preventive maintenance for vehicle(s); first contact with the veterans and is responsible for making the first positive impression; interacts in a courteous and respectful manner with a wide variety of people each day.

Required Qualifications:  A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position; evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume; designated and/or random drug testing may be required.
