Our training programs are designed with the current job market in mind to assist Veterans in acquiring the necessary skills to compete for demanding positions and to earn a livable wage.

Every Veteran enrolled in the employment and training program is assigned to a job developer with the ultimate goal of finding employment.

The following training programs are offered free to eligible Veterans:

  • ServSafe Food Safety Management Certification Training – A two-day, 16-hour training in preparation for the ServeSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute Conference for food protection.  Please Note: The two days of training include a 1 day self-study period prior to the actual training (book is given in advance). After that there is 1 day of lecture and testing with the instructor.


  • OSHA Forklift Certification Training – A one-day, 8-hour course in preparation for various warehouse positions. Classes are held every Saturday. Training curriculum includes: OASHA Regulations, Best Practices for Lifting, Moving & Carrying loads, Daily Operational & Functional Inspections & Tests, General Operating and Safety Best Practices, Hands-on Introduction to Forklift Units, Driving Tests for Hand / Eye Coordination and Functional Operation and the OSHA Forklift Certification Test.


  • Introduction to Computers Class – A 20-day course specifically designed to cultivate computer skills.  This introduction course provides essential skills needed to begin computing with confidence.
