Philadelphia, PA - January 3, 2013 – The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center (PVMSEC) begins 2013 with only its third change in leadership during its 33 year history of service to the Veteran community. Tim Meserve, a recently retired USAF Veteran and United States Air Force Academy Graduate, is the new Executive Director.

"I am extremely excited and honored to lead this great organization which provides daily programs and services to our Veterans who served our great nation." says Tim Meserve, New Executive Director of The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center. "PVMSEC has a proud thirty-two year history of programs, services and assistance offered to the Veterans of the region. We will continue this great service and adapt as necessary to support our newest Veterans as they are still returning home from war today. I also would like to thank our staff and all the individuals and organizations that contribute generously of their time and treasure to our mission."

Marsha Four, a former Vietnam Army Nurse, is retiring after 16 years of service with PVMSEC. She began her employment in 1996, as Director of all homeless Veteran programs, culminating her career of leadership as its Executive Director for the past three years. Marsha led the organization in growth and to several awards during her tenure. The most recent was the Top-Rated Non-Profit Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

Marsha Four states, "As a nationally recognized agency, over the years PVMSEC has established partnerships and collaborations at the city, state, and federal levels and it continues to strengthen its presence within the ever-expanding veteran community. Under the leadership of its new Executive Director, Tim Meserve, The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center is well equipped and stands poised to continue on the path of its mission and dedication to all the Veterans of our region."

"I am the wife of a Viet Nam Veteran. My husband started going to PVMSEC 10 years ago for help. No mere words could ever express how much his life and in turn our family life has changed for the better in those years. I am and always will be grateful for the wonderful care he has received at the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service Center & Education Center."
