Mayor Announces End to Veteran Homelessness

Philly, we're on to something BIG....
We're ENDING Veteran Homelessness.
Are YOU #ReadyForZero?!

Mark your calendars! Thanks to an unprecedented, collaborative effort of federal, local, and non-profit partners, yesterday the Mayor announced that we expect to END Veteran Homelessness in Philadelphia by THIS Veterans Day - November, 11th, 2015.

Watch Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter make this monumental announcement!

PhillyVetsHome2015, a collaboration of federal, local, and non-profit partners gathered to plan the homestretch efforts to END Veteran Homelessness in the City of Philadelphia.

VMC's own Delvin Brinson, a formerly homeless veteran who is now employed by the VMC, shared his story of overcoming obstacles and achieving personal success with the support our programs.
Currently Delvin is a "Peer Navigator" and does outreach to homeless vets on the streets of Philadelphia.

It was a HUGE day for us at the VMC, but we still have a long road ahead to reach our goal! On behalf of our Veterans, we thank YOU for your continued support!

ONWARD!
